Lost in the Alley
The artistic collision of the sound of an acoustic guitar and the graffiti alley in Toronto. The contrast between the quietness and vividness is the theme of this set of photos. When the strings vibrate a soundboard on a resonant body to project a gentle sound wave through the air, it penetrates the loud crowd and construction sits in the same environment. The soft music becomes powerful and stands out from the background. Contrast is an important element in design and art, this photoshoot gives me the opportunity to discover “contrast” on multiple levels in terms of senses. The goal is to help the audience hear the music when they look at the photographs. Model: Ethan Hibbs
