Battlefords Wayfinding Design

- wayfinding design, signage design, environemntal graphic design Battlefords River Valley Wayfinding project includes a signage and wayfinding system that helps guests find their way and discover new destinations, and newcomers better understand their environment. The project is meant to discover the ecology of the land, acknowledge the indigenous history, and look out and beyond for opportunities to gain higher ground for a different perspective of the Battlefords trails. The design theme is developed with the knowledge and stories of two peoples: settlers and Indigenous. It helps deliver the information through an Indigenous lens and reflects on the different relationships to the Land and how we translate these through Indigenous knowledge or references.
