Tactico 2022

- packaging/product design, branding, graphic design - 3D Mockup, digital Tactico is a series of accessible cuisine scissors that target anyone ages 12+ with partial blindness, and/or low fine motor skills such as arthritis. They will deliver high-quality products that are easy, but also safe for everyone to open. The brand positioning is inclusive, safe, and neutral. There are a lot of scissors are wrapped in plastic which would be difficult for visually impaired people to feel the shape of the blade. Therefore, in order to accommodate both, the idea is to cover the blade with cardboard packaging, but the shape of the blade would be embossed. Teammate: Angela Lam

DESIGN AND DIELINE:

There are two access points in this scissors packaging, but they both require the consumer to pull down the back panel, which locks the scissors in place. There would be a molded form in between the scissor grips, which prevents them from sliding out of the packaging.
